I'm so sorry, but kerouac's strength is not in his poetry (try pablo neruda 
or even paul allen if you like the whole "kill whitey" thing).  but his 
prose, that is where his poetry lies...  

there are certain moments when i am completely out of touch but i don't 
really give a damn....
