Shriekback: Jam Science (ahead of their game)
Michael Penn: Free for All (I loved it, but not like the predecessors)
Crowded House: Woodface (whoopee!  a midtempo party CD!  perfect!)
Depeche Mode: Construction Time Again (aah)
Velocity Girl: Gilded Stars, Zealous Hearts (wowee, woulda been awesome if 
Sarah hadn't've gotten married and the band broke up mere months later)
