I think he's doing "I painted my name..."--mostly because I *really*
want to cover that one and it would just be my luck that he would
beat me to it. /grin/

I read just enough Flannery O'Connor for my high school English team,
years and years ago, to know that Flannery is a woman. :) Unfortunately,
I don't have a clear memory of book titles, but I remember her short
stories as being quite lovely. I can dig out my notes if you'd like.
(I'm relatively sure that those notes still exist, anyway...)
