Nashvegas: Ben Folds Five show (NoOtR)

Really good BFF show in Nashville on Sunday. Fun, fun, fun... Probably one
of the most fun shows I've been to in a while. They're a band that seems
to REALLY enjoy what they're doing on stage. I had a blast... plus FLEMING
& JOHN came out and helped out on Ben Fold's first song "Don't Change Your
Plans"... plus, BFF didn't do "Brick." Ya gotta love that!!! Hahahaha...
I truly love it when a band doesn't do their big hit on tour. Probably
pissed some radio-listeners off, but I thought it was admirable...

The opener, Jude, was really cool. I didn't like his first song, and I
thought "Oh great." But by the end of his set, I really liked it. I
don't know how to explain him, but it was cool. Heck, I even bought his CD
today at Best Buy...

I just love Nashville. Too many tourists, though.

Second best part of the weekend (besides the show, of course)- picked up
King Crimson's "ThraK" and "Vrooom" at a used store in Nashville.

Oddest part of the weekend- seeing the guitarist of Slayer (the one with
the yucky tattoos on his scalp & arms) on 4th Street in Nashville. They
were playing Ozzfest the next day in the Nash-area, and he was
"sight-seeing" with what looked to be a girlfriend/wife and a friend. That
was a true shock to see him in Nashville...
