ASR

Okay, My turn.

ASR is a fine piece of work. Its a present from the band to its fans for all
we've stuck around for. (members in, members out, rumors of break-up, record
deals... and all those wonderful cities of candles)

What its really good for is handing to someone whose never heard of Over the
Rhine and saying "Here. Borrow this. They'll be your new favorite band."

>:)

points about the tracks.

There has to be a better version of Jack's Valentine on tape somewhere. That
one was really mediocre of the many times I've heard that song in live
settings

Yes g-d dammit why the blue eyed buck naked hell do we have another version
of "fever" as opposed to good-bye?

and where are the lyric sheets? (okay I know a lot of you people are buying
the cds these days without books- but I don't have to)

Black-bird is mind blowing. Lennon-McCartney only thought they wrote that
song. I mean UH! Good God Damn Jump Back and Kiss myself 100 times mind
blowing.

The new tracks we got are wonderful. Yes, Moth is a mess to try and make
sense of. But then I go gooey when Karin slurs the r in the word Dream >:)
Too bad they didn't give us the ode to trailer parks they performed at
Brady's last. If just for the line "Its a different kind of ghetto".

ON the whole- once again well worth more than the money I spent- fed the
soul like chocolate but healthier.

And I will stick with this band through what ever.

Ta

oh JG- I promise next week I'll answer yr question of how I got into OTR.
Its a story (and it'll give Gardner the into he demands out of new kin)

The D.M.

and he's happy to see you
