Climbing out from underneath the curtain...

(drum role please)...

Um... Hi.

Well, my name is Tim and I've been on this list for, oh gosh, well
over a year now! And I would of remained in the shadowy filled
corners of this group of Over the Rhine fanatics but... I just can't
take it any more... I MUST POST!!!

My childhood friend introduced me to OTR's music and over the years
I've collected their complete diskography. But, until this past
Friday at Bogarts, I had never seen them live. I think that the
experience certified me as a life long fan and I'm sure that is the
main reason I'm posting now.

Also at the concert, my friend Lisa (hi girl), another listie,
introduced me oh so briefly to the famous Chris Emery. From what I
gathered, he is clearly a cool guy. Well, what Tori fan isn't???

The concert at Bogarts was amazing and it has given me so much more
respect for their artistry. It is hard to pick my favorite song that
they played that night, but if forced to chose it would be a toss up
between, Rhapsody (for sentimental reasons) and My Love is a Fever
(because Karen was just having too much fun with that song).

Linford, Karen, and Co. put on a great show that simply put... rocked
my socks. What a great show for virgin otr eye's to see.

Ok, please be kind to this listie who has mustered up the courage to
climb out from underneath the curtain and take his first bow.

Here's to many more posts to come!

Tim
