i hear you Lynzi, and FWIW i believe that words *are* more powerful than
pixels or ink. the thoughts and concepts that lie behind them are oh so much
more powerful.
the *emotions* that lie back further still...

they are the raw basis of nearly every act we commit in this life.

i tend to be cynical at times as i also try my best to switch places with
other peoples' thoughts and emotions - and try my best not to be outright
offensive, regardless of my agreement/diagreement. i also fail miserably...

guys, i didn't find myself particularly keen on your follow-ups/whatnot,
simply because words DO have tremendous power to either 1) build up or 2)
tear down.

i love you all dearly and consider you to be my friends, but from where i'm
looking here, Lynzi has been hurt by the some of the commentaries after she
has:

1. poured her heart and insightful mind into this story.
2. been very pleased with her perspective in this writing because it allows
her (and many) to see the most most loving act ever committed through
different eyes.
3. shared it with us, her trusted friends.

although many on this list do not subscribe to the faith that Lynzi, myself,
and others here share... respect shown to a generous and trusting writer is
something i'm sure we're all capable of.

no flame war is needed here, and don't *even* take this as a start of one.
this is a *loving* rebuke. this is Jay, hopefully your friend, asking
everyone to show due respect and appreciation to Lynzi for sharing an
eloquent and insightful story - regardless of your belief system or lack
thereof.
