@ If I had a subject...

(I'd subject in the morning)
Pete's "So" CD is quite the CD, for the most part. My brain is wired so
that the "Big Time" hi hat is synergetic to me, even before I read that
Stewart Copeland did it. I frequently play "Don't Give Up" at bar
jukeboxes to this day, much to my peppy friends' chagrin. We went to
his "Kiss that Frog" motion machine at the mall once and it sickened me
(literally) so that I was off of Gabriel for a few years.

Lately I've totally been critiquing (is that spelled right?) television
commercials. There is such a load of crap is so rotten out there. I
personally boycotted Taco Bell for a many moons due to the rotten Little
Richard spots from a few years back. I didn't arrange picket lines or
anything, mind you...

A pal from Cincy is obsessed with an AM radio spot for the Army National
Guard that has a woman talking about all her friends she's made in the
"Guard" including "country" friends, "rock" friends, "urban" friends,
"unplugged" friends (?!) and "latino" friends. To hear him describe it,
it sounds like the antichrist of advertising.

*[all over this land]
We once went to a double shot of Schubas shows in '94 and had to drive
back that night to Cincinnati. Evil Carol (are you still on the list?!)
and her "Utne Reader" friend Jeff fell fast asleep by 1AM, leaving me a
nice peaceful 4 hours of crappy highway driving.

*[I'd subject out a warning]
OK, am I allowed to alienate myself and say that there can be no
sport/event more boring to Bruce Lachey than any type of car racing?
That said, a pal was watching ESPN's car show the other day and at the
tail end it said that my cousin (Jim) is going to be sponsoring some
type of car thing... Kinda weird to hear the neft-mentioned Lachey name
on ESPN though. :)

*[I'd subject out danger]
Ya know, Chris, Sony invented that handy dandy 3 second (and 10 and all
the derivatives) initially for MiniDisc. Does anyone here have an MD
recorder? E-me privately, perhaps we can swap something... I've been a
fan of those goofy discs since they were introduced.
