First thoughts from First St

> I'm following up jnf just 'cause I feel like it. Well, that and the

I guess this is as good an excuse as any to let everybody know how glad I
was to make your acquaintances. I gather it was a smaller listee crowd on
Sunday than on Saturday, but it was good to say hello.

Zena and I were, unfortunately, in rather rushed circumstances, or we would
definitely have stayed longer and gone deep into it with each of you. I
never did get to meet Jeanne or Megan (were you there, Megan?). It's
going to be hard to use the name StevieBoo now that I have a face to place
to his name (Steve-- please forgive me for not taking any time with you. I
do remember that you stood up for both Zena and I when we were young and
foolish on the list and tripped the warning subject.) Eric and Jay were
both charming and fun. Bruce took a picture with a little James Bond
camera. I got tipsy on half a Guinness Stout. Chris's boyish face was
certainly a pleasant surprise...

> I'm so glad I took today off work.

While it was invigorating to attempt the physically impossible, the drive
home left both Zena and I drained. I feel like a zombie here at work.
Albeit a zombie with very pleasant memories of last night's show.

> BTW, Zena Neds-Fox is a terribly witty and intelligent woman.
> Damn, she's a hottie, too! *smooch* ;-P
> BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Chris was warned that whatever he posted to the list today concerning Zena
would be taken home and related to her. Chris, I don't think she expected
any less from you.

It's going to be good to move to Columbus.

> Oh, yeah. My brotha Jay Harnish looks quite a bit like Layne Staley.
> "I know that pain, and I won't run away like I used to do"

Yes, he does. Which reminds me-- Zena said that if she could post to the
list today, she would title her message "Jack Does Smack."

I'll make no more comments on the music, except to say that the concert was
worth the living nightmare I'm experiencing today as I stumble around my
office, drifting in and out of consciousness and replaying "Faithfully
Dangerous," "Jack's Valentine," and "Moth" over and over in my head...

Absolutely worth it.

"I'll bring you sweet sweet things to eat..." - whoever that opener was

> Peace.
