I booked the band when they were still with IRS. I know what they are, and
who they are. I know it's not all Linford. I know that their packaging is
as much of a marketing ploy as anything else. I know that they put out
product to make money, and not for the sole purpose of being artsy. I know
that they are thrilled at how much they make selling non-music product.
That doesn't mean that Linford and Karin and everyone else are not involved
with inovation. Whether they are actually doing it themselves or not. I
respect Linford for his poetry. I don't need him to do anymore than that in
order for me to respect him. There are very few poets in the world that I
like. Only one if them is alive today. He happens to be in a band.

All of us are just human beings. Some of us are outstanding at what we do.
These people, while equally in possession of flaws can be venerated for
their qualities. I do not aim to BE Linford. I don't want to be LIKE
Linford. I do want to write AS WELL AS (notice not simular to) or even
better than he does.

Of course not. But I'm sure someone else is doing their job. Steve Wazniak
is not with Apple anymore. It's still Apple.

Hey, he trys. That a LOT more than can be said for most of the artists in
the world. Even if it is a public relations gimmic, he choose it. That
makes it his choice. He follows it. In my book that makes him one of the
few, and that sort of thing must come from some form of sincerity.

In my book Karin's expendable too. She keeps on trying to help write
lyrics. Blah. I mean, I know she has a great voice, but... (sorry for all
of you Karin fans).
