*shrug* What can I say? It bores me. There are some good tracks on
there that I don't mind listening to, but I have trouble sitting
through the whole album at one listen. Keep in mind that this is
coming from me - one of my all time favorite albums consists of four
20-minute songs, so it's not an attention span thing.

>i have a least favourite too, probably patience, but still (oh, sorry jessyka!!) but

Like I said, I enjoy many of the songs on there...just not all at
once. Typically, I'll get halfway through it, and then get bored, and
pop in some King Crimson, or KMFDM, or some electric Miles Davis.

As I've stated before here on this very list, I liked the direction
that the new songs were going. When I heard them at concerts, they
seemed to be leaving the GDBD stage behind. I can easily view it as
a slump, and nothing more. For example, my favorite band, Yes,
released an album that I don't like very much called _Tormato_. I
like some of the songs, but find it a chore to sit through a whole
listen of it. This album came sandwiched between a very good album
_Going For The One_, and my all time favorite Yes album _Drama_. So,
to steal from your REM analogy that follows, it's *not* the end of the
world as we know it.

I knew I loved your dearly beloved for a reason. _Automatic For The
People_ is my personal fav.

Not a chance. You guys aren't that lucky.
