Re: Karin and Linford and Letterman!!
I taped the show last night and this morning I ran the tape to the
Junkies performance. Then the tape shut off during the commercial
break. I haven't watched Letterman in years. I suppose there wasn't
anything when he came back - like, they weren't on the couch while he
said his see-ya-tomorrows? Just wondering if I missed anything.
And as far as the performance went... I've never seen or heard the
Cowboy Junkies aside from that Sweet, Sweet Jane thing they did years
ago. I didn't much care for that. I know it wasn't theirs, but I
didn't much care for them. And tonight's show didn't sway me in the
other direction at all. They seem a pretty listless bunch and K&L seemed
to have caught the virus there. Linford looked like he was falling
asleep.
But I suppose they're a bit more lively than what I saw anyway. During
their concert appearances and such. I don't know, I just wasn't very
impressed at all. But it was exciting to see our beloved Karin and
Linford on something as "big" as Letterman. Even if they were just
accessories to the Junkies' suit, it was still exciting.
