I've just missed Cornerstone for the first time in five years and I've been
trying to lie to myself as much as possible recently...
"I am really not missing anything special, I am really not missing anything
special, I am really not missing anything special, I am really not missing
anything special," etc...
From Jeff's post, there seems to be a fourth Havalina album out, and I know
there's a new VOL, and from that alone, I am already exceedingly jealous.
Now I hear about all these new OTR songs, and the water under the Brooklyn
Bridge is looking quite tempting.
Kidding of course, but garsh this is depressing.
By the way, for those of you who're surprised to see a post from this
address-- well, I'm not really a lurker, I USED to participate, but now I've
got this weekly comic book review newsletter (if you read ANY comics, ever,
let me know, I'll sign y'up for a free subscription, our focus point is the
literary side of comics) and my spare time has decreased by leaps and bounds.
Anyway... so yeah, any word on when a new OTR album might be
recorded/released/etc.?
The thought that Karin, Linford et al were just charming the pants off a crowd
of thousands that USUALLY includes me and didn't this year is enough to drive
a guy to drink, but maybe I can console myself by just waiting for the new
album, or hoping against hope that the band'll actually make it to NYC
sometime soon (ha ha).
Any C-Stone-go'ers wanna be a saint & fill the rest of us in on some o' the
other new albums that came out? I've been completely behind on music in
general recently, it'd be nice t'know what I have to seek out. Brad? :-)
