I hate to say it, but you missed something special. Oh well. Always next year,
right? I did the same thing in '96 and am still kicking myself a bit for missing
my last chance to see OtR with Ric and one of the last sets by The Choir...

Not yet. Next spring (according to backup singer/washboard player/etc. Lori
Suri). They did do some of the stuff from the new CD though. I missed a bit of it
seeing The Israelites (I hate it when two shows I really want to see are at the
same time...), but what i heard sounds cool. More country-ish...

Picked that up, haven't had much of a chance to get into it yet. What I heard was
really good. Their sets were great too (main stage on one night, an acoustic set
the next afternoon).

The new OtR songs'll be out sometime. Not probably too soon, but sometime...

Nope.

I _did_ however, hear (which I was going to put in my review and forgot) that the
Junkies tour is national, so most major markets should have an OtR/Junkies show
coming your way in the next few months. Yay! Here's hoping Denver's on the
list...

Welp, I'm not Brad, but I did pick up some new music. I grabbed the new
posthumous Rich Mullins thing called _The Jesus Record_. One CD is the 9 demos
Mullins recorded 9 days before his death, and the other disc is his band
finishing the songs and adding one of band member Rick Elias' songs. Haven't had
time to dig into that one yet either. I also got the debut by Bon Voyage, which
is Jason Martin of Starflyer with his wife Julie on vocals. And I got the
aforementioned Vigilantes disc, and a CD by an indie folk band from NYC called
Spinoza that's really good. And GDBD for one of my youth group kids. My roommate
picked up Ruby Joe's CD (a Christian punkabilly band - really great stuff).

Oh yeah...
