Hungry for bass

Hello folks 

I'm in the market for a subwoofer.  Interesting since JBL put a sub par
amplifier in the old one and now wants an extra $250 for a new model. They
refused to replace or repair the old one although they admit the amp was prone
to go bad...


Has anyone had any luck with JBL?  So far all my experienice has been what you
see above. Anyone have the JBL E250P?  That's what they want to send me.
