Sure. But the thought of fearing a guy who hires a man in a chicken suit
to crack down on corporate crime is just goofy. But seriously, I thought
the point of it was not to fear them, but to do something about that fear.

Brief aside as to this whole thread:
Mikey sure ain't perfect by any means. Just like any of us, he can be a
hypocritical mess. So's Limbaugh, so's Franken, so's L'il Annie Coulter.
But quite frankly, it comes down to this; I believe that my life is better
because I've seen the work that he's done. At one time, I could say the
same thing about Rush (and did - I used to listen to NPR and Rush
everyday), but his old huff-n-puff to look out for the little guy has been
replaced with the trumpeting of a loud Republican Elephant. At some point
in the late 90s, it seems like he lost his edge and just kind of reverted
into something less than he used to be.

I hope that we don't see the same thing happen to Dennis Miller; I've
always liked his Rants and they had a fierce sort of scrappy conservatism
that I can enjoy and even identify with; what I've seen thus far from his
new show makes me fidget a bit. It's his old style of humor, but
I...dunno. It's kind of like he's taken the RNC's talking points for
the day and wrapped obscure Roman theater references around them.
