no doubt. i've been a part of the choir in this

i think the site does a pretty good job of showing how
utterly close-minded and one-sided they are. it's
pretty difficult for me to even consider believing
them...

that is a superb question. in my opinion, good music
speaks for itself, regardless of its classification.
but for older generations, i think it's difficult for
many (not all) of them to relate to much of today's
mainstream music; and simply put, it's not really even
geared toward them. it's probably hard for most of us
"young 'uns" to imagine, but in its day, the swing
music of the 1930's was considered by the older
generations to be rebellious, cantankerous, and just
downright bad music. much like rock n' roll. much like
"contemporary christian music."

the challenge lies in convincing these folks that just
because church organ hymns may speak to them, that it
may not speak to otheres, and vice verca.
