christmas music, for the most part, sucks ass.

mannheim steamroller is not only all that is evil
about christmas music, nor is it all that is evil
in music... it truly is all that is evil in the
universe. i would rather listen to an abrasive
against a chalkboard with locusts singing harmony
than put up with mannheim steamroller. i hate
very little music. mannheim is in the short list.

anyway... i youngman-cott most holiday music...
the ones that remain in my collection due to having
"mad props" (or at least "angry props") would be:

  * OtR "DNOTY"
  * a christmas compilation i made for a July party
      with the likes of Dweezil, Nuno, Toad, OTR, etc...
  * Jars of Clay - Little Drummer Boy EP
  * Monk - How Like a Winter

I can recommend all of those non-compilation releases...

christmas music is better in song form.

not album form.

i wish you a merry iTunes,
Dan
