Whatever the reasons, I'm glad you did it.  And since you mentioned it, I
already knew that it was an official site, it just sliped my mind.   Could it
have been due to the URL?  This would make an interesting argement for the new
message board site having an "officially named" URL.  So even though I knew
that your site was endorsed by the band as the official site, what sticks out
in my mind is that long and individually personalized URL:

http://www.mit.edu:8001/people/dasmith/otr/

So in short, sorry for the faulty memory, but indeed your site (without getting
into semantics)is what led to the exquisite (and easy to remember) site we all
have now, so thanks a bunch!

And PS! while looking for that URL, I accidentally stubled on the bit of info
about when you first started listening to the band.  It was the same time as
me.  Early 1992, right?  So, now something else that links us, no?
