Thanks, Lynzi!

As you may be aware, I've got a special 'letter of agreement' with God that
allows me to spend a LOT MORE TIME than other people while never leaving the
realm of "healthy". Still, for a mere mortal to spend the amount of time I
have on the site would certainly be unhealthy, if not outright
life-threatening.

Again, thanks for your kind words. I saw the need for a forum, knew that the
official site had be "chasing" it for a long time, and knew I could install
& configure a forum quickly (about 12 minutes, all told), so I did so.
Shortly after I announced the availability of the forum was when Linford
started posting that the 'official' forum would be available "in about a
week". I offered to help them configure their forum, but haven't heard back.
I've begun discussion with Linford about the role my forum might play in the
OTR Media Empire (tm), but haven't heard back.

I'd be mighty pleased if the OTR site would point folks to my forum, if only
while they're 'chasing' the official one.

The forum format is a bit more 'open' than an email list. While I don't
propose (and never had) to replace the email list, I offer the forum as an
alternative.

Oh sweetie... The process of YOUR assimilation started the first time I met
you (Canal Street Tavern at some show for some band). It continued when we
(The Drew Collective (tm)) arranged your marriage to Jay, and continues even
now in dark, secret ways. You are owned.
