i eat books

East of Eden is one of my favorites. Good choice. Big book, but i've read it twice and i would read it again.

i joined a book club and got 8 books for $5 (plus $15 for shipping) so i'm a happy reader! so excited. Blue Shoe was one of them, so i look forward to digging in.

red eye out of Seattle tomorrow night and off to the midwest! my husband and i, along with indiana friends will arrive at c-stone sunday night and will probably be somewhere near the showers, not too far of a walk from the main events (not main stage, mind you). we'll have a great big tall roundish, octigonish shape covered by a parashoot on our sight for anyone who wants to stop by and say hi to the Muncie crowd. I also want to let everyone know that Alliance World Coffees makes the best coffee drinks at the fest and they are cool folks to boot (including my sis in law)

i'm pretty shy and overly socialized in my life, but i hope to meet some of you this coming week. most days i like meeting new people. and i too will be spending a large% of my time in the Imaginarium tent.

hopelessly looking for time to pack,

chris
