RE: Angel no OTR
Yeah, I pretty much echo all those things too. I took no notice of the
"taller" comment, but maybe that's something they'll spring on us in a later
episode. I personally hated Connor as well--When Fred said "Who's Connor, I
initially thought they had all been brainwashed, but the last scene of the show
explained--it was a kind of a leap for the audience to make from Angel saying
he would prove his love and then a blinding flash of light to that final
scene-it was one of those things I got after the show ended--I guess the
writers like that mulling over part.
I wish they hadn't dragged the Jasmine plotline out as much as they did only to
have her killed so simply in the end. The one thing I hate about this show is
the way they paint themselves into a corner and then use some sort of deus ex
machina way out of it. And by that I mean finding that "other world" demon in
the sewer who just so happened to hold the link to the resolution. There are
other examples I just can't recall right now.
