Actually, a haircut has been the big event of the last week.  My hair 
had been growing out for over two-and-a-half years, but as of 2:30 last 
Tuesday, the sides of my head are at about 1/2" and the top is just 
under 2".  I presume the remainder is now some sort of trophy on the 
wall of the hait-cutty place.

So far, the only negative comment I've gotten on the change is from a 
close friend who insists the longer heair looks better - everyone else 
seems to think I look better with the hair shorter.  Sometimes I think I 
miss it, but it's hair; it'll grow back.  =)

I'll try to dig up some before-and-after pictures for those of you who 
are out of the loop.  It's quite a difference.
