boycotts are for sucks

no offense, nutsinhell...

but boycotts are ridiculous. especially if who you
are *trying* to hurt is overseas and the people that
you *end up* hurting are right here.

what would a boycott on those gas stations who import
middle eastern oil do? *if* a successful boycott
were to come about, the gas stations might be hurt
financially, maybe even have to cut jobs or close
soem stations. who's hurt? the mom or dad who works
there and is trying to earn a decent wage to support
themselves and their family.

did you even hurt the middle eastern oil providers?
most likely not too much.

sure, it's nice to think globally, but you should
also think LOCALLY. who you are indeed potentially
hurting has *nothing* to do with the cause that you
are fighting.

ridiculous.

i'm generally not in a boycott state. some products
i won't use, but because i like to find alternative
products that i like better. the idea of organized
boycotts are what i think is silly... the whole mob
mentality, yadda yadda, not thinking it through...

but that's just me. do what you will.
