Barry, now you've destroyed all my career aspirations! There's nowhere for 
me to go, except *out* :D

Personally I think your co-workers are undertrained. Around here, closed 
doors mean "don't bother me I'm busy reading the newspaper,  surfing the 
internet, and playing solitaire." Also, they are a status symbol. Only the 
big dogs (not necessarily the good dogs :D ) get doors. Oh and privacy - I 
would like to have a discussion with my doctor's office without everybody 
knowing the gory details of my diarrhea spells or itchy rashes or whatever.

I had a window once - I could see the top of a tree and some clouds - that 
was all. But at least I could see what the weather was doing and what season 
it was. It could very well be 30 below zero and January for all I know.

Well I guess I'm still wishing for a door and windows.
