Re: Busted Lift set-list/mini-review
Joel, All Karin did say about the upcoming recording sessions is that
they were supposed to be in the studio now, but they felt it would be
more fun to play a few dates out in the area (Iowa and C-stone), and it
was a chance for them to get away for just a few gigs. So it wasn't
like they would be gone all that long or all that far away either. From
the vibe at the show, I could tell that they really had a good time the
last time they played there, and were not about to pass up an
opportunity to play there again. She also made a joke about returning
to the Busted Lift, and said "or as us girls like to call it the Lifted
Bust". Lots of playful banter that evening. Plus I think they had
C-stone and the Lift scheduled for quite awhile anyway, and added the
Des Moines show later since they were already in the area for the Lift.
Actually C-Stone isn't 'til after the 4th anyway. The 7th, I believe?
