Antibacterial? (was: Re: Intimacy (Painfully Off-Topic))

Oh *please* no.  Everything I've ever read has basically said that 
antibacterial soaps and cleansers did more harm than good, simply because 
they kill off the "weak" bacteria and leave the stronger ones 
behind.  Those stronger strains then reproduce and become more of a 
problem, just like strains that become resistant to antibiotics like 
penicillin.

In other words, normal soap will do just as well for pretty much 
everything, without the nasty side-effects.
