Re: a few things

I'll try to type this one with out any typos!

I though A.I. was a poor film while seeing it in the
theatre, but I came away from it still replaying it in
my head. By the time it came out on video, I knew I
had to own it. I have noticed that in my experiences,
a film can be too much to take in on a first viewing,
and only after seeing it again, or after thinking
about it after seeing it can I make a judgement call
if I liked it or not.

To me, A.I. was profoundly sad, and the whole tone is
so melancholic throughout the film that I really can't
bear to watch it very often. I can't describe the
emotion I get from it, but it is wholly it's own and
I've never gotten it from another film. To me that
makes it good. Subjectively good.
