Hi. I have seen Over the Rhine live exactly twice. Once last winter at Hope
College, Dimnet chapel. That was great because it was my first OTR show and I
went with a dear friend and had great seats. My dad didn't go because of the
venue (he says "dimnet chapel is great for trombone solos, but once you get a
drumkit in there, you can't hear anything else) (irony: they didn't have a
drummer for that show) and he, of course, missed out. But I felt independant,
because I mostly go to concerts with him.
the second was december 6, 2001 at Calvin College (wow, this E-mail just drips
irony) and I took along some friends and it was a fabulous show as well. I
loved it a lot. My dad didn't go to THIS one because he had a gig elsewhere,
but he gave me his blessing to attend over the rhine.
OTR live is great. Really. Great.
