so i wouldn't judge anything too quickly.
i spent friday evening with a man, laughing like a
little girl while having my tummy zerberted and
finally getting kissed only not to have heard from him
since. and this after several dates with him.
but baby doll if you're gonna tell the story, then
tell the story. inquiring minds want to know, what
was it he said?
in my case it is what he hasn't said since...it's
amazing all the ways we can find to crush eachother's
spirits, huh?
darling, where is your stamina? if you are
considering the monastery before you get out of
college there is no way your going to win the dating
game out of school.
oh i have a poem for you! it is perfect for these
days like ours:
I want to be caught --
a ball cushioned in
worn, warm leather.
To be held and turned and
to lay nights cradled
on the bed stand
in his protective palm.
To watch him sleep a boy
and see him wake a man.
But I am neither caught
nor thrown today and walk
as a disappointed dog --
my nose to the ground.
