long put off visits
hadn't been to see my grandad in a month or so. and i was going down there
this weekend, to let him listen to DNOTY, cos i htought he'd like it.
mom wrote today, and the invetiable is happening, at least it feels like
it. he went into the hospital last night in respiratory distress. he's
stable. which means he won't die right now. but how much longer can it not
happen? he's way past the expectancy for emphysema. but i keep hoping
he'll just one more time get lucky. i don't want to be realistic about
this. and my dad is travelling.
do i know what to pray for? no.
but if you thought of something, please do.
