Just call the police and tell them you hear screaming coming from your 
upstairs neighbour. If that's a bit too drastic, knock on her door the 
next morning to "check and see if she's all right," and tell her you 
ALMOST called the police. She can't really be mad at you for being 
concerned, but she WILL get the message.
