This book has been laying around my house for ages, I
ignored it because I was too embarassed to be seen
reading anything with Oprah's name on the cover. I
decided to read it after seeing it mentioned on the
OtR website, and I'm glad I did. Absolutely beautiful.
I'm going to write some more about it when I have more
than three seconds to spare, (maybe in pentameter!)
but in the meantime, if you like the style and tone of
the writing in The Poisonwood Bible, Cat's Eye by
Margaret Atwood is another really good read.
I'm so jealous of everyone going to the Taft Show.
Have fun. Think of those of us pining at home...
