might be easier if you gave some more examples, but i'll give it a go...

hmm... don't have much "international" myself, unless you count celtic.
if you do, you *must* have _iona_. the live double-disc "heaven's
bright sun" is an excellent place to start.
i also enjoy _madison greene_ occassionally. they're a cornerstone
festival favorite. this year they also had a "world band" that included
a lot of interesting instruments.

i'd definitely recommend _stavesacre_. good hard sound, almost
_tool_-ish on some of their older stuff, but with intriguing lyrics
(which should appeal to any OTR fan ;).
others to consider would also be:
_common children_ - their new album is, on the whole, more mellow than
the earlier stuff, but i still think their overall style would mesh with
an OTR fan.
_the violet burning_
_the juliana theory_ - an emo-ish band with a lot of variations.
_further seems forever_ - similar to _juliana theory_, but perhaps a
little harder.
_appleseed cast_ - kind of eclectic guitar grunge strangeness...
and if you're into the more mainstream alt-rock, _creed_ has a new one
out, POD's is excellent, _limp bisket_'s latest is very good, a new
_fuel_ album soon...

_VOL_ - someone else mentioned these guys, and though i don't really
groove on them myself as much as some, they've got some good stuff.
_aaron sprinkle_ - eclectic goodness.
troy, now wanting to go shopping himself
