good.   and to not quote ghostbusters,  the area is called the Hellmouth,
the convergence of the evil forces.   it's  a ~really~  bad place to build a
town!   even one as pleasantly named as sunnydale.

good.   she came in what?  late last season(?),    and there's  another one
of those  snipped  "long story"  stories behind dawn's  arrival.     but(!!)
we got Glory  for awhile and damn,  was she cute!   and fun.   a little
evil, to be sure,  but she was  fabulous as a character.   i could be wrong,
but Glory (the actress)  was supposed to be cast in the role as Buffy.
someone correct me.    she was the bomb.

you left out Angel.    he was an english vampire too,   a character from all
the way back at episode one,   and he became buffy's love interest.   angel
and/ or the lack of angel   is often the fuel of angst that powers many
buffy episodes or subplots.     the vampire with a soul,   he's  good 'cause
he wants to be,  not just good 'cause the medical chip prevents him from
hurting humans.    (spike can still kick demon ass).

angel scored his own spinoff show.    took another one of buffy's  sunnydale
friends with him  (sort of---i think it was a coincidence they ended up in
LA)  named Cordelia.     you'll need to know her if you start back with the
early episodes.

well done,   you pretty much got them up to speed  in just minutes.     f/x
network is showing a buffy marathon -by request-  on thanksgiving day.   so
don't go over to your folks house.   stay home and watch buffy.



oh!   almost on topic for the thing that linford co.  pays all this money
for:   in the cleveland  free times  there is an album review of buddy and
julie miller,   and so you people going to the taft gig to see them might be
able to read the  rather glowing review first  (if you're unfarmanimal with
buddy and julie)  if it's available on-line.   (don't know.  not gonna
look.)
the free times ~is~ on-line at  www.freetimes.com   but surfing for the
review is up to you.

you know who would know if linford and karin have any tattoos?   don't know
if she'll talk,  but maybe this will get her talking  about anything at all,

movies:  you people are smart.   what was the british movie where the young
woman, the lead character,  always  spat  "racist!"  at her parents and
friends?     further clue:  she sounds like maybe she lives in the same part
of england that billy bragg hails.   i enjoyed that movie but now can't
remember what it was called.  rats.
