i'd say fill the tub, get it and put your head back,
let the water swish, swoosh (like when floating in a
pool and your hair fans out...) and what not and that
should get it out and loosen it from the scalp too.
just a suggestion, never had a mass amount of dirt in
the hair to know if it works or not.
