Thought about including this one but stuck with older stuff so as not to
overload. Temtation actually got me *back* into Cooper after a long hiatus. I
was into him back in the 70's - early 80's but then he put out a string of
weak stuff IMO and I lost interest. Just saw him a couple weeks ago and he
put on a wild show. Pulled out all the stops. Still wacked after all these
years. Surprisingly, right before *I want to be elected* the whole band broke
into *God Bless America* with Alice holding up a flag.
Toward the end of the show I about bust a gut when he beheaded Britney Spears.
_Suffocating the Bloom_ is also
hard to find. they released it indie,
actually got one of the indies of this.
I assume it is: Bridge records?
Didn't know it was so hard to find.
Tis a great disc.
-> King's X _Gretchen Goes to Nebraska_
One of my faves. Haven't been blown away by any since Sam Taylor left though.
There's been some great moments but man, those first few discs...
Thanks for all the info. I'm not familiar with quite a few you mentioned,
though I've 'heard of' most, gonna have to look a few up.
I'd also include Sam Phillips 'Omnipop' in more current concept albums.
Contrary to popular opinion I think this was one of her best to date. Some
truly interesting sounds on this. I love Animals on Wheels and Plastic is
Forever.
