did anyone see the pbs programme "continental harmony".
i thought it was wonderful!

i would think all the composers were american-50 or so across various cities 
in the U.S. were sent to create music that reflected the culture of the area 
they were in. All of them mixed traditional musical forms with 20th C 
harmonies and structures with a bit of experiment thrown in for fun!  
really, really interesting.
I am trying to find out if any part of this is available for purchase by the 
public-cd, cdrom, video. dvd?
