Re: jury duty

I was summoned once and just never went. I had moved and came back for my
mail about 6 months later. Darn, the date had already passed. I called.
All they said was "Don't worry about it."

Then I got summoned again, and I called before the date this time. See I'm
getting smarter and smarter by learning from my mistakes--I had my mail
*forwarded*. |:of Anyway, I told them I was working full time while I was
a full time student with a part time work study job and they just said "Don't
worry about it."

I hear other people talking about how they couldn't get out of it, and they
were threatened with arrest and other things that authority figures threaten
you with. I have no experiences to share with those people. I just say oh
well. Actually, I kinda wish I had went. Especially after all those jury
duty movies, Jury Duty, 12 Angry Men. It's too early to think of more.
