Re: homophobia (little otr)

agreed. i never said it was easy to be forgiven, or to stop the sin, or any
of that. i know quite well that it isn't easy...i think what i was trying to
get at is that we *do* at least try, when we feel that what we are doing is
truly wrong.

>according to which authority? and can you claim it's

i can't claim anything as truth. i don't know the truth about anything
beyond minor trivial things, like yes, i have two arms. i read what i read
and hear what i hear...and it is wrong probably more often than it is right.
i don't always see what other people see in things. it's definitely a big
fault of mine. i admit it.

i have no problem with that statement in general. but in my world, my silly
little world, pedophiles are bad for an obvious reason, as are serial
killers. of course, i'm still fairly young and most likely loads more naive
than i think i am.

i think i completely missed what i was getting at with that last paragraph.
i know there are people who put that into action...i know people who do. i
didn't say that, and i'm sorry. seriously, it wasn't intended that way.

but if i may bring up a (more thought-out) point, in my experience, the
people who are *most* likely to say something like that in defence of their
beliefs are not people who really do it. once again, i'm not saying
*everyone*...i've just noticed that people (like you and paul and many many
others) who actually put that love into action, do so because it's the way
they are. it is their nature, and they see loving each other as a duty and a
natural way of showing who they are/their faith, etc. they don't go around
talking the talk...they just walk the walk.

that is really what i had meant to say, but of course my brain goes faster
than my fingers...so forgive me if you wish.

jillian.
