homosexuality and reality

hi derek,

well, this sounds a little contradictory...is it
shameful or not? :) as far as repentence and former
positions go, just b/c something was part of someone's
past perspective doesn't make it wrong or less true
now. ya know, i haven't read emails calling gays and
lesbians to repentence on this list; but i'm reading
the opposite case here, in a sense. that's
interesting at best.

so which is it? is/has the church (been) with it or
not??? i'm not really asking that b/c i know you're
looking at a supposed fluctuation, but these are
sweeping generalizations. the tone is more revealing
than the content.

i'm glad you brought this up. the opposite view has
just as good a "chance" of understanding reality as
your perspective. this side of the question/debate
etc. is no less subjective than the other.
