Holly,

You might want to consider that it's not just homosexuality. Christianity
is based around the idea that we ALL have fallen short of God's glory. Sin
is an inherent, or "built-in", feature of humanity, and it's something that
we all struggle with. Whether it be homosexuality, selfishness, avarice,
hatred, pride - whatever.

As for whether or not homosexuality qualifies as "sin", well, that question
is up for debate at the moment, isn't it. But I guess, judging solely from
your post, that your biggest obstacle with Christianity isn't lesbianism.
It's recognizing and accepting the notion that /everything/ about you is
inherently tainted.

I know some people have a hard time with that. Personally, I've never found
it difficult to accept the idea that I'm scum. I know myself all too well.

Take care.
