I asked my parents to begin homeschooling me after 10th grade, and I have
every intention of home-schooling my children. It has more to do with how I
percieve the ideal family unit than with teaching my children a
"god-fearing" POV. (Children will either be God-fearing or they won't - I
don't think school is the determining factor).
Anyway, I can't imagine sending my beloved children into the wicked jungle
that is public school. I deplored every moment of school when I was young. I
applaud those educators who are still willing to teach our kids, and I know
some exceptional teachers who make the very best of their situations, but
unfortunately I think the entire system is malfunctional from the ground up.
