Re: New music question

i've heard a three or four tracks on the lucinda
record - sounds real good. emmylou harris covered her
on *wrecking ball* with "sweet old world," one of the
countless (12) highlights on that record.

man, i've been sitting on kirstey maccoll's "tropical
brainstorm" for about two months. have given it to
both my sister-in-law and a great friend on the west
coast and have received reviews similar to mine.
funny, witty, sad, stylish, cuban/latin-influenced,
jazzycool, lush, in places stereolab-ey, some
standard-sounding stuff, it's got the whole package.
if you can't decide next time you're at the store,
check it out.

on topic as long as it's about music,
