Hi

I really enjoy the new senty sevens disc.  At first I wasn't sure but it
has grown on me with each listen.  Mike Roe said they were going for more
of a pop sound with this disc.  That said it still rocks.  I noticed that
a large portion of the music was written by Bruce Spencer (their drummer).
I read an interview with Mike and he said he was going through a bad case
of writer block.  Its great to see that they have other capable writers
like Spencer and Mark Harmon, though I would have enjoyed hearing more
from Mike.

I just bought the Lucinda Williams disc last night.  My intial reaction is
that its a bit more laid back.  Lucinda wrote all the songs and the disc
is produced by Charlie Sexton.  There's an interesting interview with her
in NO DEPRESSION Magazine.
