my german is quite rusty andmore at the 5-6 yr old level (the last time i
really recall it being spoken languagewise at our house i was 10...)

so i know the last paragraph says that his german friends don't think he's
really american because he doens't chew gum or wear a baseball
cap.

 there's some stuff about cleverness and not really understanding what you
sad and some other stuff that i udnerstand sort of.
