Riot in Over the Rhine

Dear List,

Here is a report I just received from an African-American pastor in the OTR 
neighborhood of Cincy.  Thought it may interest some on this list.  If you 
are so inclined... pray:

Please continue to pray as the riot erupted today.  Many businesses were 
looted and people hurt.  If you were white in Over-the-Rhine (my ministry 
neighborhood) you were beaten.  It was kinda of like LA and Rodney King.  
Anyway, I'm kind of in shock right now and so are my church members.  We are 
very discouraged about our upcoming outreach as we were scheduled to blitz 
the community with flyers Friday and Saturday, but right now it's martial law 
as cops won't let anybody in or out of the hood.  I don't know if my white 
church members should show their face this weekend.  For those of you who've 
been through this--what should I do?  How do you handle this stuff? >>
