Well, after successive, really horrendous, nasty concussions kept him out
of all but, what, a game and a half last year?, all the battling between
his dad (his agent) and the Flyers front office just boiled over, and the
Flyers have tried to trade him to several different teams. But no one
really knows how effective he's going to be in the ice now, since one
more blow to the head will undoubtably concuss him, possibly with lasting
brain damage. (He and his brother, another hockey player, both have this
problem. Don't ever call them hard-headed.)
Anyway, though he's back training on the ice, no one knows when/if he'll
play again. And considering how good a player he is, I think it's a damn
shame.
