I heard this too, but let me give you some advice: Rex Reed is a
nincompoop. He used to be a fairly good and unbiased critic, but for the
past 5-6 years he has become little more than a pawn for the studio
devil. I read his initial review for "Battlefield: Earth" (which he has
since changed on his website), and he had the audacity to claim that this
film although frazzled at times, "definitely had its moments." I mean
come on. Vanessa Redgrave did not deserve the award that year. Despite
her being a fine actress, she, like Jack Nicholson, tends to play one part
and do it very well. Whereas, Tomei took an relatively small but pivital
role, and through acting made it the highlight of the movie. I feel that
this sort of performance is what the Best Supporting award should be for,
not just awarding those who have been overlooked for years (Robin
Williams, Judi Dench, etc all good actors but should have won for other
roles).

Just my huble opinion which no one will reply to because of Chris'
powerful conspiracy against me in his fears of me becoming dominant in
Tony Hawk
