RE: has the list limped to the side of the wrong road?

Oh, ignore Chris, Helena.

I'm with you, actually. I don't know how long you've been on this increasingly bizarre list, but for MONTHS it was dead, dead, dead. I tried to organise a Rhinelander Ball, but the idea went down like a lead balloon in the clouds of ennui drifting across the wires.

In a way, I'm pleased that there's SOME discussion on the list. But for the first time, I'm not overly excited about the list itself. I've been rather annoyed for a few weeks, now. Small-minded nastiness doesn't particularly thrill me, either. I guess we've been lucky so far: usually, OtR seems to inspire more poetic flights of fancy than anything else. Or so it seemed from my first few years on the list.

But personally, I don't give a rat's ass about discussing gun control or Christianity or pettiness on this list (much as I really do adore Kyle). If I want bitterness, I've got more than enough of my own, thank you, without importing any. Besides, I'm on two different Goth lists and I have a closetful of black clothes. Angst? No, thank you, I'm trying to cut back.

So. Tell me: which OtR song is most like dancing for you?
